NetRing Community: Cutting into 4 in cast drain

   what could I use to cut out a section of 4 inch cast iron drain pipe?  Also, how hard is it to drill a hole through one side of the cast drain?  thank you

	How about a carbon blade on a 4" grinder? That should cut your pipe nicely.

	You must use a soil pipe cutter which can be rented at any tool rental facility including Lowe's/ Home Depot. There is not a method of cutting a hole in the side.

	You can use a diamond blade on a 4" grinder. Slice through like butter.
